In the entrance
of the museum there is the lobby which is in a rectangular shape and all
the galleries’ doors openned on this lobby and stair for the upper
floor .On the musuem’s wooden door Both sides there are two small
rooms ; the left one used as a control room for all the musuem and the
electric pannel, while the right one used as a water closet .
In
the middle of the lobby there is a marble Jet with a geometric Formation
. The walls is covered with marble till the middle and above it there is
a line of gypsum decorations but the remaining is from a soft gypsum .
The marble is influenced by the Mamlouke buildings .
The
ceiling of the lobby is covered with a Mamlouke beautiful doom, consist
of a square has a four colored glass lamps and from the four corners
there are yokes to change the square to a circle .
In
this doom there are sixteen window of the colored glass, and from the
middle of the doom there is a chandelier . In the lobby’s four corners
there are a copper oil lamps and above all the doors there is an Islamic
decorations .
Frontface
of the museum’s door there is a conical stove covered
with a Turkish tile with a plant decorations . On these tiles
we have ( done by me in kutahia contractor Mohammed fouad )
written and also we have (
no winner except Allah ) and on two squares, “Allah” and on the
other “Mohammed” .
The
lobby has eight show cases that exhibit Turkish, Iranian and Mamlouke
masterpieces . one of these pieces is an Iranian Ewer ends with an
animal head and another Mamlouke Bowel that has some written texts on it
.
There
are some modern Furniture have been added to the lobby as a preparation
for helding musical parties and cultural seminars . They add a wooden
stand, a microphones, piano and a circular wooden table have been
designed on the Islamic style .
